Nirbhaya rape case inspired fashion shoot triggers outrage all over social media, India

Photographer Raj Shetye’s editorial shoot that went online a few days ago have sparked an outrage and fury all over the social media. Raj in his fashion shoot as portrayed a model who is being manhandled in the bus. Anybody can easily draw the connection of Nirbhaya rape case with the fashion shoot. A shameful incident which the people of India are still trying to overcome, a photo shoot on the incident is extremely degrading emotionally. Twitter user’s have been posting hate messages ever since the fashion shoot had gone online.

Photographer Raj Shetye has denied any connection of his fashion shoot with Nirbhaya rape case. He states that the fashion shoot is his personal work and a depiction of women in our country. However, after the net started overflowing with disturbing and hate messages for the photographer, he immediately have taken it down from his official site.
