The same event saw both the Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik and NMMC Commissioner Vijay Nahata throwing light on their plans to make Navi Mumbai a beautiful place to visit if not completely a tourist stop. Along with Dhirubhai Amusement park in Adavi Bhutavli, Gawlidev and Bawkaleshwar are also likely to be developed as tourist spots. Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik spoke on the beautification of these spots and stated that funds received from other companies would be used to not burden the NMMC.
