No shutdown of government – US Senate

A resolution has been passed by the US Senate which is likely to deter any government shutdowns. The Federal Emergency Management Agency stated that it has enough money to provide aid to the US victims of natural disasters, which finally led to the deal.

The new funding will last until 18 November once passed by the House. The deal ends the possibility of a government shutdown on 30 September.
