North Korea states ‘nuclear weapons as the nation’s life’ says will never back down, however UN has been looking for a negotiation
North Korea’s nuclear activities must be stressing out the UN and the rest of the world, but it seems that Kim Jong un, North Korea’s leader have made it clear that no matter what the result be, they will continue their nuclear activities. Kim states that nuclear weapons are nation’s life. It would help the country in many ways, from protection to sorting out shortage of electricity. In fact North Korean leader had announced on Tuesday that it would be starting activities on a closed nuclear reactor at Yongbyon facility, which would expand its stock of fissile materials that would be required for making nuclear weapons.
However United Nations have expressed concern on North Korea’s such behaviour. In fact according to them the things are getting so much out of hand because there had been a lack of communication. Thus they are looking forward to resolve the matter through negotiations, rather than the other way round, as that would not benefit anybody. Kiran Kidwai – International Desk, NMTV
