Speaking on his offer to give resignation, Uddhav Thackrey said that it was not Diwali that he was offering to resign and demanded his resignation.
In his recent interaction with the media, Shiv Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackeray gave a scathing remark to Union Home Minister and Former Finance Minister P Chidambaram’s statement of offering to resign from his post due to his alleged involvement in the 2G spectrum scam. Uddhav Thackeray said that P Chidambaram had offered to resign from his post. Stating that it was not Diwali, he demanded that P Chidambaram should be asked to step down and then an enquiry should be set up.
Uddhav Thackarey was speaking during the inauguration of a new casualty and Emergency Services ward at Nair Hospital. During the inauguration, Uddhav Thackeray also spoke on the Rs 550 crore concretization of Mumbai roads which came under controversy due to the huge expenditure.
