Foreigners in South Africa which consists of people from Nigeria, Somali, Mozambica, Congolese and the largest majority of Zimbabwe, are fretting big time as the South African authorities have laid out new immigration laws. These new immigration laws had been laid out after May elections and according to the authorities these strict visa regulation laws were required as they wanted to get hold of high rate of unemployment that is gripping the economy and the people of the country.
But such sudden strict rules and regulations that had been forced on the foreigners have had a very disturbing impact on families and business. Anyone who is found guilty of staying in the country after their visa expired have to face five year ban from the country. But it would be more tougher for the Zimbabweans who had been granted to stay in South Africa after tension aroused in their own country, but the permit to stay expired last year itself. And now the government wants almost 30 000 Zimbabweans to leave the country and wait till they get their permits extended and for that nobody is even guaranteeing them or assuring them of any time period.
