Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik has urged his party workers to not celebrate his birthday with much fanfare but instead celebrate it by organizing social events that will benefit the society as a whole. Under this, from the 8th to 14th of September several social, educational and health benefit camps are being held in the city. These events kickstarted from ward no 1 to ward no 6 where free health check up camp, distribution of books to students and several other events were held. Present as the chief guest during these events was Airoli MLA Sandeep Naik. Speaking to the media, MLA Sandeep Naik appreciated the corporators had organized social events on the occasion of Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik’s birthday rather than spending money in birthday hoardings.
Stating the Minister Ganesh Naik’s vision is to develop Navi Mumbai into a health city, MLA Sandeep Naik said that such events were a step towards that dream. On the other hand, the citizens who took benefits of these camps, said that such events were significant and beneficial for the common man.
