Pillai Institute of Management and research completed its one week of management training program where the Global Management students from the St. Mary’s College of Economics and Business, California visited the Institute and learned about the growing Indian economy and its policies.
Global Management students from the St. Mary’s College of Economics and Business, California had visited the Mahatma Education Society’s Pillai Institute of Management Studies and Research, Navi Mumbai for an intensive management training program. This program was a one week program where on the last day the student from California were informed about the growing economy of India and its policies for employment during recession time. The theme of the program was Indian Corporate Models, Global Paradigms and Business Strategies. Well known academicians had participated in this one week seminar to interact with the students. Addressing the students, the Founder-President of Pillai Institute, Dr. Vasudevan Pillai spoke on the importance of Public-Private-Partnership in the economy. He further informed that while the US government was able to fund its educational institutes, in India the situation was different with lack of funds and assistance from the government. We caught up with him to know more on this one week seminar.
Dr. Daphne Pillai who spearheaded this collaboration also gave more information. She further added on the experience that the students got from the seminar.
