Police again been targeted for racism after pleas went unnoticed for searching actress Misty Upham, Washington

Family and friends of actress Misty Upham have targeted the authorities for ignoring their pleas for searching actress Misty Upham. Misty Upham, 32, had done many films but the most noticeable role that won her a nomination in Screen Actor’s Guild Award was her role in ‘August: Osage County’.
Misty had gone missing for the last few days. Her parents filed a missing complaint and requested the officials that they immediately send out a searching team as Misty could be in some kind of danger, But according to Misty’s parents the cops did not act at all. Later a search party of Misty’s family and friend got together to search for the actress. The search party succeeded to find Misty after all, Misty’s dead body. She was found at the bottom of a steep cliff in a densely wooded area of Auburn.
Her parents are though accusing the authorities for her death stating that despite a number of pleas the cops did not even bother to search out for her and that Misty has become just another victim of Racism. Kiran Kidwai – International Desk, NMTV
