POLITICAL PARTIES CANNOT SHINE AT PUBLIC PLACES DURING NAVRATRI

Festivals are the best option for politicians to publicize themselves and shine among the people through banners and posters. However, after the implementation of code of conduct, politicians of different parties will not be able to publicize themselves at various pandals this Navratri. Soon after Ganesh festival, MCGM is all set to take out the posters and advertisements of different political parties displayed on the streets. Similarly, after the implementation of code of conduct, all political parties will be restricted from displaying their posters and banners at the pandals during Navratri. At the same time MCGM has also restricted advertisements of liquor, gutkha and cigarettes at these places. MCGM additional commissioner RA Rajeev informed that all Navratri mandals have been given instructions to not to display advertisements of politicians within the distance of 100 feet from the mandal and registration of the particular mandal not following the instructions will be canceled.
