President Rule Soon In Maharashtra

After Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan put down his resignation since his government lost majority after the NCP withdrew its support, imposition of President’s rule in Maharashtra is going to be a formality after the Union Cabinet gave its nod.

A Cabinet meeting was held in the absence of PM Narendra Modi since he is in US. During this meeting it was recommended by the governor C Vidyasagar Rao to Rashtrapati Bhavan to impose President’s rule in Maharashtra. Sana Warsia – NMTV News.
