Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make a bilateral visit to Kathmandu, Nepal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be soon taking a trip to Kathmandu. That would make him the first Indian Prime Minister to make a bilateral visit to Nepal after I.K.Gujral in 1997. Although after I.K.Gujral, even former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had visited Nepal but that was for the SAARC summit in 2002. The announcement had been made by the Nepalese Foreign Minister Mahendra Pandey after Nepal Prime Minister Sushil Koirala approved the dates for Modi’s trip. Kiran Kidwai – International Desk, NMTV
