According to the UAE Ministry of Labor holiday for Eid Al Fitr for all the private sectors will be for just two days. After that the work shall be resumed from the third day itself. On contrary to that public sectors are getting a longer break i.e. for five days. And if to go by with what the astronomers are predicting Eid might fall on Monday. That means that public sector workers can peacefully enjoy nine days of holidays as two weekends fall to accompany their holidays.
The holidays are been announced under the directions of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Hussain Ebrahim Al Hammadi. Kiran Kidwai – International Desk, NMTV
