Welcome back. Railway premises continue to be sitting ducks for those wanting to strike terror in the city. Security is still lax in suburban stations despite the deaths of hundreds of people in bomb blasts and fidayeen attacks in Mumbai. Hansraj Kanaujia visited railway stations in the city for a report. When NMTV News took a tour of some of the prominent stations, we found out how slack the security was in all these stations. Our first stop was the terror hit CST railway station where the security even today has not been tightened, say commuters. Commuters stated that while there is personal security provided to politicians, there is no security for them. The same story was with the other railway station too in the suburbs. Thousands of people entered the station and there was not a single security official to screen or frisk the commuters. Some station had just one lady constable of the GRP on duty while another had only three male constables. With cameraperson Dhanse Mehboob, Hansraj Kanaujia for NMTV News.
