It’s time citizens dusted their umbrellas and windcheaters because pre monsoon showers habe already hit the city. NMTV News captured the first showers that brought relief and smile on the face of citizens. The metereological department officials had predicted that pre-monsoon showers might hit the city early and it did. It generally takes a week for the rains to hit Mumbai from the onset of the monsoons. The city is also likely to see overcast skies for the next two days. The showers have brought respite to citizens who have been struggling with the intense heat and humidity.
