Rights group Amnesty International reveals Chinese firms biggest firm in exporting tools of torture globally, Beijing

Rights group Amnesty International have released reports in which they have laid out that Chinese firms are one of the biggest firm that is involved in exporting tools of torture all over the world. These report drew attention towards one Chinese company Xining Import and Export Corporation which openly advertises thumb cuffs, restraint chairs, metal spiked batons and electric stun guns and has ties with more than 40 African countries. Rights Group Amnesty stated in their reports that export of such equipments have inhumane effects and posses a substantial risk of fueling human rights violations by foreign law enforcement agencies.

However a spokeswoman of China ministry refused to consider Amnesty a reliable source stating that this Rights group organization had always been against China and that she doubted if there was any authenticity in these reports. Kiran Kidwai – International Desk, NMTV
