Airoli constituency has remained one of the performing constituencies in the state of Maharashtra : courtesy Sandeep Naik – who in 10 year of representing Airoli as MLA ensured its overall development from each ward to all nodes that comes under the constituency. In the last 5 years, Sandeep Naik kept alive their progress mantra as well as took on the opposition as the lone leader in the assembly from his party in Navi Mumbai. And he has risen in rank due to his work record. However, now it’s the time to test how much he has strengthened their hold from grass-root level up in Airoli constituency with assembly elections that will be held on October 21. Many believe that the public connect and record public work pioneered by Sandeep Naik as Airoli MLA can work strongly in favour of Ganesh Naik in these elections.

NAVI MUMBAI INFRASTRUCTURE AND CONNECTIVITY
In the last 5 years, as MLA, he has given major thrust on infrastructure and connectivity to ease commuting woes; 2 flyovers at Ghansoli-Talavli and Savita Chemical at Turbhe, underpass at Mahape, elevated road at Airoli-Katai area, following up execution of flyover at Adhivali-Bhutavali Shil-Mahape route and Ghansoli-Palm Beach Road. He has also teamed up with NMMC and citizens of Airoli constituency, with the aim of bringing short term and long term solutions to citizen issues. In the course, he has made periodical visits to NMMC, CIDCO and MSEDC while he also went for site visits across wards in Airoli constituency. Citizens across Airoli constituency have openly acknowledged that Sandeep Naik set the culture of making public representatives, officials and citizens as one team to ensure better accountability and speedier execution of public works in citizen’s interest.

EDUCATION, ENVIRONMENT AND SPORTS
While Sandeep Naik is a known sports and environment enthusiast, he has also undertaken initiatives in education. ‘Navi Mumbai Shiksan Sankul’s “Sarav Pariksha” – a mock boards for Std X students to help them overcome board examination fear is a very popular initiative in Navi Mumbai’s education sector. His NGO Green Hope has been recognized for planting lacs of trees across the constituency. While sports of traditional format to international ones have been given a platform by way of ‘Navi Mumbai Krida Sankul’ to encourage sports for fitter and healthier Navi Mumbai while nurturing the sports talents of the city. Employment fairs have been another initiative that have been organized to give a platform for employment generation.

DIGITAL AIROLI
He has converted Airoli from a crime capital to IT hub.

DIGITAL CLASSROOMS IN NMMC SCHOOL
While he has used MLA funds in various public work, his most significant remains in making NMMC schools digital.

NAVI MUMBAI’S MOST AGGRESSIVE VOICE IN VIDHAN BHAVAN…
Sandeep Naik has been the most aggressive voice of Navi Mumbai in Vidhan Bhavan. While the top issues raised by include, rights and justice to PAPs in Navi Mumbai, power woes of MSEDC and work in condominiums. But he won the citizens of Navi Mumbai in the last assembly session of the state when he spoke for the first time on pollution.

AND THE OTHERS
The cleanliness drive at Sulaidevi and Gawlidev, bringing the Flamingo and Biodiversity Center at Airoli – the first-of-its-kind centre to study India’s marine ecology and its creation and using his MLA funds for science centers in municipal schools have been some other noted work he has done as MLA.

It on the back of these record public work undertaken by Sandeep Naik as MLA that stands to benefit Ganesh Naik as he contests the Maharashtra Assembly Elections from Airoli constituency.

Should voters look beyond Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to evaluate a MLA’s performance before casting their votes, it is almost certain that in Airoli constituency, Sandeep Naik’s performance as MLA will boost the winning margin of Ganesh Naik in October 21 polls. #ZebaWarsia – NMTV News.
