Sell of flats to pay dues of BMC: Bombay High Court orders

During the hearing of a case, the Bombay high court has allowed the sale of 18 flats in a building in Mumbai to pay off the dues of BMC and construction firm Shapoorji Pallonji of around Rs 140 crore. The bench dismissed an application filed by Crescent builders which had opposed the sale. The court said, “We do not see any infirmity or illegality or perversity in the order passed by the single judge.
