NCP President Sharad Pawar admitted that he had erred on matters concerning Udayanraje Bhosale despite being cautioned by other party leaders including state president Jayant Patil who had suggested some policy decision on Udayanraje Bhosale. He was addressing a rally in Kolhapur. The former Union minister said that Chhatrapati Shivaji’s descendent was not being treated with honour and respect in Delhi.

Sharad Pawar has been defying age to campaign for NCP in the polls. The senior leader passed sarcastic remarks on his critics who have cited his advanced age.

Taking a dig at those who deserted NCP ahead of Assembly elections, Sharad Pawar again ridiculed their claim that they were joining BJP for politics of development questioning who had stopped them from carrying out development. He added that he doesn’t go home since he embarked on his tour of Maharashtra for the assembly polls.

He took on the NCP leaders who have left the party and said that he has asked his family to handle things at home as he has to handle them.
He also made an appeal for NCP victory.
