H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of the UAE, on Monday, visited the Children’s Cancer Hospital Egypt 57357 Foundation (CCHE 57357), in Cairo, Egypt, on an invitation from the Hospital’s management.
H.H. Sheikh Saif toured the Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s ward which was established in 2006 with the support of the Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation. This ward represents the first step in the expansion of the project of the Children’s Cancer Hospital Foundation launched in 2007. The Foundation donated x-rays cancer detection equipment as one of the most important needs of the hospital. This support comes in line with the humanitarian initiatives that the UAE has consistently strive to implement under the directives of the country’s wise leadership; and in promotion of the fraternal relationships between the UAE and Egypt. It also consolidates and fosters the historical relations and common destiny that combines the two countries.
Furthermore, the UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior visited the building of the Sheikh Ahmed bin Zayed Al Nahyan which includes a large number of beds and modern and advanced medical equipment used in the treatment of children with cancer. It is noteworthy that the equipment was a donation from the late Ahmed bin Zayed Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation that is active in the field of humanitarian work.
