SHIV SENA BJP KICKS OF ELECTION CAMPAIGNING FROM VIKHROLI

Shiv Sena BJP has began with its political campaign with a rally at Vikhroli. Present during the rally were senior leaders of the party along with Shiv Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackeray. The first campaigning rally of Shiv Sena and BJP was held at Tagore Chowk in Vikhroli. A grand meeting was conducted in which several leaders and party workers of both parties were present. Addressing the meeting, Shiv Sena leader Manohar Joshi assured victory of the alliance like it had won in the year 1995. The star attraction for the campaigning was famous TV Show “Home Minister” host Aadesh Bandekar. During the rally, Sena leader Manohar Joshi said that Uddhav Thackeray is the one and only leader who truly represents the cause of the Marathi manoos, backtracking from his earlier controversial statement that Raj Thackeray and his cousin Uddhav were both fighting for the manoos. Joshi’s earlier statement, which had put MNS chief Raj on par with Sena executive president Uddhav had raised hackles in the Shiv Sena. Joshi hinted to voters that they should not vote for the MNS. While rain played spoilsport, drenching the thousands gathered, Uddhav diverted the crowd’s attention by saying the rain gods were blessing the saffron alliance. A heavy shower came as soon as he rose to spoke saying that this was a blessing to the drought-hit state and is an indication that even lords Indra and Varun want the saffron alliance to return to power in Maharashtra.
