Shiv Sena Gives Into Demand Of BJP for 130 Seats

Breaking the deadlock of seat sharing between the Shiv Sena and the BJP in Maharashtra polls, the Shiv Sena party has reportedly given into the demands of the BJP for 130 seats instead of the earlier 119 offered by the saffron party. A meeting was held on Tuesday which saw the presence of Sena leader Subhash Desai, party spokespers Sanjay Raut and BJP’s Maharashtra poll in charge Om Mathur and state party president Devendra Fadnavis.

However, it has not been made clear if the Shiv Sena would be parting away with these seats or if the smaller parties in the coalition will be asked to give away the seats. Bureau report – NMTV
