The Shiv Sena editorial is back at attacking its former ally BJP. After a bitter divorce, the Shiv Sena is in no mood to tone down its attack on the BJP.
After the Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray slammed Opposition Leader Devendra Fadnavis in Vidhan Bhavan, the Shiv Sena mouthpiece ‘Saamna’ continued the criticism.
This comes after NCP President Sharad Pawar confirmed that the PM Modi had offered him to work with the BJP, which Sharad Pawar had turned down.
Reacting to this, the editorial in “Saamna” questioned why did BJP, that otherwise called NCP as “Naturally Corrupt Party” had taken 5 years to realize Sharad Pawar’s experience.
It also stated that had the NCP not won 55 seats in Maharashtra polls, the BJP would never develop its sudden interest in Shiv Sena. It warned the BJP that if it errs again, it will fall.
The editorial also referred to the ED notice to Sharad Pawar and said the Maratha strongman had not kneeled down to Delhi’s pressure. It was the ED notice to Pawar and his response to it, that many believed was the game changer in the elections this time.
It also stated that even industrialist Rahul Bajaj had the courage the say in front of Union Home Minister Amit Shah that there is no freedom of speech and to live fearlessly in the country. Citing this the editorial said that only in Maharashtra was there freedom of expression.
