SHIVRAM PATIL RAISES DOUBTS OF BILLS BEING “MANAGED” IN DELAY OF H B BHISE SCAM AUDIT – THREATENS TO GO TO COURT IF ACTION IS TAKEN SOON

hb-bhise2Corporator Shivram Patil made some serious allegations that the delay in auditing the H B Bhise scam bills and chalans was intentional to manage audit documents. He made the allegations of having such doubts in the weekly Standing Committee meet stating that he had over 1800 papers of the scam as proof. The administration needs over 4 months to do the complete auditing work. Last week we brought to you how Shivram Patil was sharing an embrace with M K Madhvi during the Standing Committee meet despite his party alleging M K Madhvi’s role in the H B Bhise forgery and scam case. We had also pointed out that Shivram Patil had failed to raise the issue in the Standing Committee meet. Call it the NMTV Impact that Shivram Patil raised the issue in the weekly Standing Committee meet. He demanded that the administration answer how much the H B Bhise scam had reached today, the name of the corporators involved in the case and the officials arrested so far. The Commissioner had no new information to give the members except what has been told since the FIR was made. Making some serious allegations against the investigations, Shivram Patil said that the delay in auditing the H B Bhise bills and chalans seemed to be intentional to give time to the accused for managing or changing the documents and bills. He said that he has 1800 papers that were a proof of the scam. And so if the administration was not taking action then they’ll go to court. He demanded that the administration give a time period needed to audit the encroachment contractor’s accounts. To this, the Chief Auditor of NMMC Madhavi Ingole informed the members that they have to go through all registers in the corporation to audit the H B Bhise account and for every six months they need 10 days. In other words, the corporation needs over 4 months to do the complete auditing work. During the discussions of H B Bhise case, NCP Corporator M K Madhvi remained inconspicuous with his absence. While the administration is showing reluctance in making details of the scam public, reliable sources confirm that the scam has reached a whopping over Rs. 3 Crore as of today and allege the involvement of senior most NMMC officials in the scam.
