MCGM SEEKS GUIDELINES FROM STATE GOVERNMENT FOR SILENCE ZONES MCGM has declared many areas in Mumbai as silence zones. Mumbai Mayor Dr. Shubha Raul has been very persistently following up the issue of environment friendly celebrations and immersions during Ganpati. The dynamic Mumbai Mayor informed that the lake would be 20 feet long, 15 feet wide and 10 feet deep in which Ganesh idols of 5 to 7 feet can be immersed easily.
