Spain reports lowest coronavirus death tolls over 17 days

The novel coronavirus pandemic has indeed emerged as the greatest crisis of the decade claiming over 100,000 lives across the globe. Countries like the United States of America, Italy, Spain and India have suffered greatly due to the outbreak of the COVID-19.

However, according to Spanish government, Spain has recorded its lowest daily death toll in over two weeks, with 605 succumbing to the virus. The country which has recorded over 15,000 fatalities has a total number of cases over 157,000. The health officials in Spain have urged the citizens to follow the strict attention of the national lockdown. They further stated that the pandemic has reached the peak. The figures have revealed that the death rate is declining to four percent as compared with statistics which began on March 25th when it recorded up to twenty seven percent. The nation also recorded a total number of 55,688 people who contracted  the virus.
