After found guilty in match fixing scam, cricketers Mohd. Asif and Mohd. Amir, along with former captain Salman Butt had been suspended from International cricket for five years by ICC board and had further awarded sentences in prison by a British court. On giving out sentences, the cricketers were been told that if they behaved with the orders of the court they might be considered to be set free on half way through of the sentences allotted to them.
However, the suspended cricketers are not ready to give in yet as according to them the judgement has been unfair and hence have appealed to the Court of Appeal against their sentences as well as even their suspensions. Kiran Kidwai – International Desk, NMTV.
