Lady Khatun Mariam Navik School and Junior College situated in the campus of Training Ship Rahaman held its Inter House swimming competition recently. Students dressed in their swimming gears looked all charged and excited about this competition. The Lady Khatun Mariam Navik School and Junior College was founded in the year 1990 and today boosts of a total of more than 800 students. While the classes from I to X have CBSE board, classes XI and XII of HSC board. The school is also affiliated with National Institute of Open Schooling. The school provides state of the art infrastructure and facility to the students at nominal fees. The school also ensures that the students are trained in sports activities. Recently the school held its Inter House Swimming Competition. Every year this competitive activity is held in order to inculcate sportsman spirit in the students. The principal of the school informed us more about this competition. The chairperson of this school Elizabeth Yusuf is determined to develop the students in such a way that they can face any given challenge after passing out.
