Tabla Maestro Zakir Hussain Inaugurates Uddhav Thackeray’s Photographs Exhibition

Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray held a photograph exhibition at the Jehangir Art Gallery. The exhibition was inaugurated at the hands of Tabla Maestro Zakir Hussain. On day one the sale of photographs fetched Rs. 15 lacs.
The collection from the exhibition will be used for corpus funds to be given to farmers in Maharashtra facing natural calamities like drought and hailstorm. Environment minister Ramdas Kadam bought one of the photographs for Rs 10 lakh and another was bought by Sadeep Aswalkar, a businessman for Rs 5 lakh.
The exhibition has 70 photographs taken by Uddhav at various places including Mumbai, Cambodia and Canada.
The inauguration was also graced by Uddhav’s wife, Rashmi Thackeray and his son and Yuva Sena chief Aditya Thackeray and singer Shankar Mahadevan.
