Thane MP Dr. Sanjeev Naik paid a visit to several railway stations in Navi Mumbai recently. With several complaints being received from railway commuters, Thane MP Dr. Sanjeev Naik visited the railway stations of Navi Mumbai which included Airoli, Rabale, Ghansoli and Turbhe. The MP started his visit from the Airoli Railway station where several issues came to light like lack of electricity, non-operational CCTVs, dirty platforms and public toilets. The MP gave strict orders to the officials after speaking with the commuters on their problems.
Speaking to the media, Thane MP Dr. Sanjeev Naik said that since Airoli, Rabale and Ghansoli had many industries, there was a lot of crowd to travel to and fro from these railway stations. He informed that as per the demands of the commuters, orders were given to have Electronic machines for tickets. The other problems included lack of security, cleanliness and ticket counters at the railway stations, he said.
