The women members of the new Shiv Sena-RPI alliance took out a morcha at Shivaji Chowk Vashi to protest against the rise in diesel and gas prices. The women lit stoves to show their protest. Consumers now will have to loosen their pockets all the more with the government’s decision of increasing the diesel and gas prices. Diesel prices have shot up by Rs. 4 while gas has been increased by another Rs 50. Protesting this hike, the newly formed alliance of Shivsena-RPI took out a morcha at Shivaji Chowk Vashi. A large number of women protestors were seen here who lit stoves to show their protest. Present during the morcha was Navi Mumbai Shiv Sena Women Wing President Ranjana Shinde.
