So far, everyone knew that there are frozen water deposits in Mars but scientists have found proof that there are seasonal streams of liquid water too spotted across Mars. NASA’s HiRISE Martian orbiter spotted the water streams on the red planet’s surface. These images have a similarity to the water streams that flows through mountains on Earth.
Since the seasonal streams were observed and captured over a period of three years, researchers are quite confident that the streams are the same as spring thaw on planer Earth.
This new evidence is compelling scientists to believe that there is water on the red planet and perhaps there are chances that more could be flowing beneath the surface of Mars. In other words, since there is water on Mars, there could be some kind of extraterrestrial life on Mars too.
