The Times of India Film Awards, will take place in Dubai this year. The Times of India Group, India’s largest media conglomerate, today announced the second edition of TOIFA with presence of popular Bollywood actors Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez in Dubai. The Group is confident of repeating the success of the first edition in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, where over 40,000 live audience witnessed the performances of the top most Indian film stars during TOIFA celebrations.

TOIFA 2016 Dubai Presented by Gulf Air and Splash, will be held on March 18th at the Dubai International Stadium, Dubai Sports City and shall see power-packed performances by Shah Rukh Khan, Varun Dhawan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, YoYo Honey Singh and many more leading Bollywood celebrities. Tickets for TOIFA 2016 Dubai would be available for sale February 8th onwards on ticketmaster.ae.
TOIFA is going to be promoted across India, Bahrain, KSA, Qatar, Oman and UK and fans are expected to travel from these countries into Dubai creating tourism receipts over the weekend for Dubai. TOIFA has already partnered with Thomas Cook in India and Dadabhai Travels in the GCC as its Travel Partners.
Today’s ceremony began with a press conference addressed by Mr. Sameer Soni, Director International Business, The Times of India Group, along with Bollywood celebrities Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez and partners Splash represented by Mr. Raza Beig, Chief Executive Officer, Splash and ICONIC and Gulf Air represented by Ms. Sahar Kamran Ataei, Chief Financial Officer, Gulf Air and Mr. Ahmed Abdulla Janahi, Chief Commercial Officer, Gulf Air.
