TRAFFIC DEPARTMENTS JAMMER SYSTEM FAILS IN ITS PURPOSE WITH TOWING VEHICLES STILL TOWING VEHICLES AWAY

jammer-2While the Navi Mumbai Traffic department had boosted about its jammer system claiming that after its implementation towing vehicles would not be seen on roads, today is a different situation. As many towing vehicles are still spotted on the road which carry the jammed vehicle near to the traffic department office. A look at the vehicles parked near the RTO office situated near the Belapur flyover clearly shows the jammers put in them. It maybe recalled that the traffic department started the jammer system so that action can be taken against the cars parked illegally at no parking zones without any hassle, by simply jamming them. However, the department not only jams the vehicle but later on even tows it away. Senior Police inspector, Traffic R D Jadhav accepts that the main purpose of jammer system is to get rid of towing vehicles. However, he goes defensive on towing vehicles carrying the jammed vehicles. He even informed instances about some vehicles pulling out the jammed tire from the car and fleeing.
