Stirling Station in Perth, Australia witnessed people power after a group of passengers along with the rail staff got together to free a man who got trapped in the gap between the coach and the platform. At 8.50 am when the train stopped and the passengers were coming out, one of them slipped fell and got one of his leg trapped in the gap. He immediately started shouting for help. According to the CCTV camera footage the staff first immediately informed the driver so that the train does not start off. Then the staff began to gather passengers who were present at the platform. Together the passengers and the staff tilted the train in a manner that the man was able to pull out his leg.
The man was immediately given medication and was checked for any serious injuries. It was only then the train resumed its services again. Kiran Kidwai – International Desk, NMTV
