UN Security Council urges lawmakers in Iraq to form the government as soon as possible, within the time frame of 30 days, Iraq

Keeping in stride the present condition in Iraq, UN Security Council urged the law makers in Iraq to form a new government as soon as possible, mainly within a time frame of 30 days. The Council members are supporting the procedure for the democratic process and the people of Iraq against terrorism. And to make sure that the law and order is restored in the country, pressures are been made for a new government and for this UN has urged all the political parties to respect the political process that is governed by the country’s constitution.

‘The nomination of a new Prime Minister designate is an important step towards the formation of an inclusive government that represents all segments of the Iraqi population and that contributes to finding a viable and sustainable solution to the country’s current challenges’  as stated by the UN Security Council members.
