US Attorney General Eric Holder announcement of resigning comes as a big blow to President Barack Obama, Washington

Eric Holder, 63, nation’s first African-American attorney General had played a vital role during Obama’s presidency as he had been the chief liberal warrior who had managed in every manner to protect voter rights and to end racial discrimination in the justice system. But along with managing his duties and responsibilities Eric also had to handle controversies, like the shooting of the unarmed teenager in Ferguson that had led to an uproar, bringing the department in poor light, along with his handling of guns at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. He also had managed to stay on the top list of Republican target.
President Barack Obama who himself is all wrapped up with his war plans and questions from his supporters is at the moment trying to search out for a replacement in the middle of his term. Eric Holder had been the longest serving official and one of the most reliable warrior of Barack Obama during presidency rule of six years.
