The coronavirus has brought the entire world to a complete standstill. The national lockdown commenced by the Indian government has prohibited travel all across the country. Meanwhile, immigrants from other states as well as countries who are either in the category of workers or tourists area finding it very difficult to return to their respective hometowns as they are unable to find means of transport. Meanwhile, the Vande Bharat mission has scheduled flights, one from Singapore and the other from Saudi Arabia to take away the people of their nationality who were stranded in India after the lockdown was commended. The Samudra Setu operation kicked off as the Indian navy stated its voyage to evacuate Indians from other countries beginning with Maldives. Around 250 students were stranded in London also prepared to board the flight from London to Mumbai. The flight which carried 152 passengers from Saudi Arabia landed in Mumbai on Friday. The passengers were quarantined in different hotels after being screened.
