The differences between Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik and Sena Navi Mumbai Chief Vijay Chougule have reached personal levels. Meeting the press for the first time after his victory in the Airoli by-elections, Vijay Chougule made some serious allegations and said that soon he plans to take his protest rally to Mantralaya. Political battles between Thane Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik led NCP and Vijay Chougule led Sena is attaining graver aspects. Addressing, the media for the first time after his victory in the Airoli bi-elections, Vijay Chougule showed the media recordings of Guardian Minister Ganesh Naik’s speech during election rallies. He said that during these rallies the Minister had allegedly made remarks that Vijay Chougule claimed were nothing less than threats to his life. Vijay Chougule has filed an affidavit in this context and handed over a copy of the speech in a DVD to the police department and other concerned authorities for scrutiny. He further said that the failure of the police to nab the murderers of his brother Devidas Chougule is compelling him to soon take out a protest rally to Mantralaya demanding justice. Chougule is planning to make Sena politically more active and a rally to be addressed by executive president of Shiv Sena, Uddhav Thackeray at Kopar Khairane is on the cards.
