“We will take up the lokpal bill even if it advocates death penalty for corruption” – says NCP Chief Sharad Pawar

If the congress wants to have an alliance, the NCP is open for it, NCP supremo and union agriculture minister sharad has said. In the same press conference held in Mumbai recently, the minister said that they wont avoid the lokpal bill even if it advocates death for corruption.

The media was quick to question the minister on the lokpal bill advocating death penalty for corruption. In his usual unaffected style, sharad pawar said that bill won’t be avoided even if the penalty is so stringent. The media also questioned that if president Obama’s team could enter pakistan to kill osama bin laden, why isn’t India taking any steps against Dawood. On this Sharad Pawar sighted the reasons of having different border policies. And when the senior pawar was asked a question that irked him, as always he attacked the media.
