Yemen rebels succeed in taking over the towns south of the capital Sanaa, Yemen

The Shia rebels have been succeeding in spreading their terror as they captured a town south of the capital Sanaa. There weren’t enough forces present that could have fought with the rebels which made their mission even more easier. After capturing the town, the rebels first blew up the house of a rival Islamist politician. Then the armed militants took over the headquarters of the capital’s local government throwing out the Governor. As had been stated by the security officials, the rebels had planned from the beginning to get rid of the Governor in the first place itself as according to them, Abdul Ghani-the governor was a fraud who had been the reason of arising corruption in the area.
